Rishi Laser Limited was originally incorporated on April 20, 1992 as 'Alandi Metapress Private Limited'. The Company was converted to a Public Limited Company and the name of the Company was changed to 'Rishi Laser Cutting Limited' on July 6, 1993. The Company changed its name to Rishi Laser Limited later in 2007.
The Company is engaged in manufacturing of Fabrication of sheet metal components and machines. The Company offers parts for excavating machines, and manufactures steel fabrications and assemblies for engineering industries. It is engaged in four verticals: construction equipment, automotive, rail transportation and power (transmission and distribution). Its services include contract manufacturing, design and development, punching, sheet steel fabrication, bending, laser cutting, welding and surface treatment. It serves various industries, including textile and general engineering; telecommunications and instrumentations, and earthmoving machinery.
The Company has the biggest steel Laser Cutting Facilities in India with more than 16 CNC Laser Cutting Machines operational across 6 manufacturing units, spread across 5 states of India - Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Haryana. Most of the units are ISO 9001:2015 certified for manufacturing process. In addition, it has implemented Lean Manufacturing system which enhances the internal work atmosphere and work culture. In an endeavor, to cater to the diverse range of products and complex combinations ... of volumes, the Company achieved significant milestone by practicing Cellular Manufacturing.
The Company has Ultra Modern manufacturing facilities comprising of CNC Laser Cutting, CNC Plasma & Gas cutting, CNC Press Brake Bending, Pressing, Punching, Boring, and Welding and Surface treatment. It has good IT infrastructure and requirement of best software tools gives the Company the advantage. It provide the best delivery schedules for fabrication of assemblies and product development using out of the box fabrication facilities like like welding robots and modular jigs and fixtures. It also have fabrication supporting facilities like, Moving column milling centre, Lathe Machines & Drilling machines.
The Company has dedicated EOU (Export Oriented Unit) catering to it global clients with quality of products. It undertake project based work where-in turnkey assignments of steel fabrication are taken up. Parts of these projects are manufactured in various manufacturing plants and then they are shipped to the site; Where they are erected. These projects could be part of Cement plant material handling, automotive paint shops, etc.
During FY 2024-25, the Company diversified steel fabrication business into three core business verticals: construction & mining equipment, power distribution, and rail transportation. Within these segments, the Company strengthened its presence in large assemblies and sheet metal parts for capital goods, infrastructure, and industrial applications. Additionally, the prior diversification into segments such as wind energy, agriculture and textile machinery has supported and expanded the market base. The Company incorporated its new Bangalore (Malur) plant, spread across 3 acres with a built-up area of 70,000 sq. ft. and a CAPEX outlay of Rs. 15 Crores. Parallelly, the Company entered the Tube Fabrication business, catering to applications in oil & gas, railways, airports, furniture and infrastructure and has already commenced supplies of handrails and steel assemblies to the construction equipment industry.
