Vishal Fabrics Limited (VFL) was incorporated as Vishal Fabrics Private Limited on October 22, 1985. The Company changed its status to public limited company and the name of the Company was changed to Vishal Fabrics Limited on February 25, 2014. The fresh certificate of incorporation was granted to Company on March 31, 2014, by the Registrar of Companies, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The Company came out with IPO by offering 3474000 equity shares of Rs. 45/- (including premium Rs.35/-) and got listed on BSE SME Platform in F.Y. 2014-15.
As the flagship company of the Chiripal Group, VFL specialises in dyeing, printing and finishing a wide range of fabrics, from pure cotton to sustainable blends such as modal and Tencel. Headquartered in Gujarat, the Company operates advanced facilities with an impressive annual processing capacity of over 100 million metres. Its advanced infrastructure, including highefficiency machinery and a 6MW captive power plant, supports sustainable and smart manufacturing practices that meet the evolving demands of global markets.
Apart from these, VFL operates an advanced manufacturing facility with an annual processing capacity of over 100 million metres of processed fabric. This includes an 80 Million Metres Per Annum (MMPA) denim fabric processing line and an additional 105 MMPA capacity for processing a diverse range of fabrics such as 100% cotton, cotton-spandex blends, polyester, modal and Tencel. The facility employs advanced technology including ... 464 weaving looms, multiple warping units, dyeing machines, singeing machines, mercerising units and finishing equipment. This comprehensive setup enables VFL to produce diverse products from shirting fabrics and dress materials to home furnishings and high demand stretch denim, appealing to consumers across age groups.
The Company, promoted by Chiripal Group, Ahmedabad, was initially engaged in trading of textile fabrics. Though the Company was incorporated in 1985, its activities stood almost dormant till year 1999. During the year 1999-2000, the company took over the Units of Associate concerns, Bhushan Petrofils Private Limited and Prakash Calender Private Limited; both located at Narol, Ahmedabad, on lease basis and started the processing of fabrics.
The Company started commercial operation of manufacturing denim fabric in year, 2016. It installed a Captive Power Plant of 6 MW in 2016. In 2018, the Dyeing and Fabric Processing capacity of the Company was enhanced to 105 million metric tonnes per annum (MMTPA)
and Denim Fabrics processing capacity to 80 MMTPA.
In 2021-22, the Company introduced one denim line with 10 MMTPA which started operations in March 2022 with total capacity of 90 MMTPA dyeing and 105 MMTPA processing.
