Arman Financial Services Limited is an India-based, non-banking finance company (NBFC) registered with The Reserve Bank of India. The Company is engaged in the business of providing Small and Medium Enterprise Loans (SME), Two-Wheeler Finance (TW) and Loan Against Property (LAP) to create the underlying assets of SME, TW and Mortgage.
Arman Financial Services Limited was erstwhile incorporated as 'Arman Lease & Finance Limited' on November 26, 1992. The Company subsequently changed the name from 'Arman Lease & Finance Limited' to 'Arman Financial Services Limited' in March, 2008. The main objects of the company consisted of providing a wide spectrum of financial services both Fund based and Non Fund Based activities which includes term loans, collateral free credit, other forms of credi ...ts, thrift and savings and insurance. Arman also plans to render financial services to people by acting as intermediary for banks and financial institutions in the cities, towns, villages of India.
Arman operates all over the Ahmedabad. Its loans sizes are small and are within the repayment capacity of the borrower. They qualify for little higher loan if they repay the first loan. The Company does not have brokers in Micro finance. It only lends to group of ladies where in if one borrower defaults, the whole group is made responsible.
The Company incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary M/s Namra Finance Limited on 27 March, 2012. M/s Namra Finance Limited a wholly owned subsidiary became the first company in India to receive 'NBFC-MFI' license, which accordingly commenced business effective from February 15, 2013.
Arman's Microfinance Operations got demerged into its wholly owned subsidiary, Namra Finance in FY 2013-14. The Company started its operation of micro finance in Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra in 2016-17.
The Company opened 67 new branches, bringing the total count of branch to 402 in 2024. It completed fund raising through a Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) of Rs 230 Crore in 2024.
The total of 391 MFI branches were operational in FY25.
