Suryo Foods and Industries Limited was incorporated on May 12, 1989 with the Registrar of Companies, Odisha. In 2008-09, Company started construction and real estate business in its vacant land situated at Dhamara, in Bhadrak district, Orissa. The Company engaged in the business of shrimp's hatchery and other sea products. The Company is also having a Shrimp hatchery with a 250 million post larvae capacity hatchery built on 6 Acres land at Gopalpur on Sea, Odisha, which started business effective from April 1, 2015. A 300 acer Industrial park with port connectivity and clean energy access with an operational airport nearby. The Industrial Park is ideal for shipbuilding, Chemicals and Industrial units that requires LNG as an energy source. Strategically located in the coastal village of Sagarpur, adjacent to Gopalpur-on-Sea, its hatchery is a state-of-the-art facility approved by the Coastal Aquaculture Authority (CAA). The location offers pristine conditions ideal for diversification into other high-demand species such as Freshwater Scampi (Macrobrachium rosenbergii), Asian Sea Bass (Lates calcarifer) and Grey Mullet (Mugil cephalus). The Dhamra and Gopalpur facilities form a robust, vertically integrated aquaculture model that gives Suryo Foods complete control over every stage of production-from seed to harvest.
