Mumbai | August 28 – PL Capital has released its updated list of high conviction stock picks for August 2025, featuring a new mix of large-cap and midcap companies that are well-positioned to benefit from India’s evolving growth drivers. The refreshed portfolio includes Adani Ports & SEZ, Britannia Industries, Larsen & Toubro, DOMS Industries, Eris Lifesciences, and Voltamp Transformers.

The update reflects an increased focus on domestic demand-led businesses, festive consumption, and GST 2.0 tax reforms, while pruning names facing near-term challenges.

“We are adding names which might deliver relatively higher outperformance in the coming quarters. The emphasis remains on businesses with sector leadership, earnings visibility, and strong balance sheets,” said Amnish Aggarwal, Head of Research, PL Capital.

We project Nifty EPS CAGR of 13.2% over FY25–27, with a 12-month Nifty target of 27,609 (based on 19.1x FY27 EPS of 1,445). Our bull and bear case scenarios are pegged at 28,990 and 24,848, respectively.

“India’s favourable macro backdrop of low inflation, monetary easing, and festive-season demand supports equities. Our conviction portfolio reflects businesses most likely to outperform in this environment,” the report noted.
