PTC Industries has launched a qualified institutional placement to raise up to ₹1,800 crore. The company’s Listing and Fund Raising Committee approved the opening of the issue on 6 October 2026 and fixed the floor price at ₹22,150 per equity share. 

What Is the PTC Industries QIP? 

A QIP is a way for a listed company to raise money by selling shares to qualified institutional buyers (QIBs). These are large investors, such as mutual funds and insurance companies. PTC Industries manufactures critical and super-critical components and subsystems for aerospace, defence and industrial applications. 

Who Approved the PTC Industries QIP? 

The issue needed three levels of approval to open. 

  • The board of directors initially approved the fundraise at meetings on 27 June 2026 and 5 September 2026. 
  • Shareholders passed a special resolution at an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) on 1 August 2026. 
  • On 6 October 2026, the Listing and Fund Raising Committee approved the issue opening, the preliminary placement document and the application form. 

What Is the Floor Price of the PTC Industries QIP? 

The floor price is ₹22,150 per equity share, with a face value of ₹10 each. The company fixed it using a pricing formula set by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). It used 6 October 2026 as the relevant date, which is the date used to calculate the floor price. Shareholders have approved a discount of up to 5% on the floor price.

On 14 August, the company reported results for the quarter ended 30 June 2026. 

  • Consolidated profit after tax (PAT) attributable to owners rose to ₹29.19 crore from ₹5.16 crore a year earlier. This is an increase of more than five times. 
  • Consolidated revenue from operations rose 97.4% year-on-year to ₹191.80 crore from ₹97.15 crore. 

Outlook 

PTC Industries will set the final issue price in consultation with the book running lead managers. These are the banks appointed to manage the share sale.
