Rex Sealing & Packaging Industries Limited was incorporated as 'Rex Sealing and Packing Industries Private Limited' on August 10, 2005 with the Registrar of Companies, Mumbai. The Company was changed to Public Limited to Rex Sealing and Packaging Industries Limited. A fresh Certificate of Incorporation was issued on August 01, 2022 by the Registrar of Companies.
The business was initiated in 1963 by founding Promoter, Mr. Manjunath Nayak under the name 'M/s Rex Industries' for manufacturing of Gland Packing. Initially, the Company started as a manufacturing business at a very small scale. Thereon, in the Year 1997, the business was further expanded by second generation of the family, Mr. Niranjan Nayak and later joined by Mr. Naresh Nayak in the Year 2001.
The Company is into the business of Manufacturing of Sealing, Packing and Insulation products. The Company's diversified products include four major categories: Compressed Fibre Jointing Sheets / Gaskets, Gland Packing & Ropes, Fabric Expansion Joints, Technical and Heat Resistance Textiles and Ceramic Fiber Product. The manufacturing unit is strategically located at Panvel providing with strategic and operational advantages with facilities, to ensure that the products conform to the pre-determined standards.
Presently, the Company is in the process of setting up an additional manufacturing facility at Anand Nagar, Ambernath, admeasuring 4000. Sq meter for expansion of business and manufacture of all types of 'Asb ...estos Free' Gaskets sheets for Automotive, Steel and other process unit.
Company made a public issue of 5,99,000 equity shares of face value of Rs 10 each by raising funds through IPO aggregating to Rs 8.09 Crore comprising a fresh issue of 3,00,000 equity shares aggregating Rs 4.05 Crore and 2,99,000 offer for sale aggregating to Rs. 4.04 Crore in January, 2023.
The Company is in the process of setting up of a plant in to expand its business by setting up of a plant for manufacture Vof Gasket, Industrial Bellows, Chemicals in Khalapur District, Raigad, Maharashtra. The Company has purchased land aggregating to 1.52.30 hectares of land at a cost of Rs. 5.95 Cr. The cost of the project is estimated at about Rs. 16 crores.
