VJTF Eduservices Limited was incorporated on 3rd September, 1984 as Hazlitt Leasing & Finance Limited in Maharashtra. The Company's name was changed from Hazlitt Leasing & Finance Limited to Salora Finance Limited & a fresh Certificate of Incorporation was issued on 22nd April 1992. Thereafter, the name further changed from Salora Finance Limited to Artheon Finance Limited on 30th October 2007. Again, the name of the Company was changed from Artheon Finance Limited to VJTF Eduservices Limited through the Scheme of Amalgamation of VJTF (P) Limited into the Company and a fresh Certificate of Incorporation was issued on 30th March, 2013 by the Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra.
The Company is presently promoted by Dr. Vinay Jain and Dr. Raina Jain, eminent educationists from Mumbai widely recognized for their contribution in the Education Sector. The Company is engaged in Education services, Education Infrastructure, Curriculum Development, Trainings, Management of Institutions and Education Audits. Initially, the Company was providing broking and professional consultancy services in India.
During the period 2012-13, Vinay Jain's Training Forum Private Limited (VJTF) was merged with the Company, making the Scheme of Amalgamation effective from February 6, 2012. In accordance with the said Scheme of Amalgamation, Company on 28th February, 2013 issued 1,22,00,000 Equity Shares of face value Rs. 10/- each of the Company for 30,50,000 Equity Shares held by the Equity Share ...holders of VJTF.
After the amalgamation of Vinay Jain's Training Forum Pvt. Ltd. into the Company, Company has already established itself as an emerging player in the Education Services segment. Through this amalgamation, the Company provides services to Operational Education Projects at Pawan Baug, Malad (West), Mumbai, Udaipur, Rajasthan; Bhilwara, Rajasthan and Goregaon East, Mumbai.
The Company, after having provided educational services to K-12 schools and institutions such as Witty Kids and Witty International Schools, has now shifted its focus. It sold the school operations and is entering the hostel business and AI-related education sectors. The Company has retained to hold the status of a registered Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). In line with its investment objective, Company makes investments across diversified asset classes including quoted and unquoted equity shares, debentures, mutual funds, portfolio management services (PMS), Alternative Investment Fund (AIF), and other permissible investment avenues, to optimize returns in maintaining a balanced risk profile.
