About Cospower Engineering Ltd

Cospower Engineering Limited was originally incorporated as a Private Limited Company with the name 'Cospower Engineering Private Limited' on September 22, 2010 at Mumbai, Maharashtra of acquiring the Partnership business of M/s. Cospower Corporation, which was in existence since 2004. Subsequently, the Company was converted into Public Limited Company and the name was changed to Cospower Engineering Limited vide a fresh Certificate of Incorporation dated February 19, 2020. Initially, the promoters started business in year 2004 through Partnership Firm M/s. Cospower Corporation. The said Firm was engaged in the business of trading and marketing of electric goods. The Promoters, Mr. Oswald D'Souza and Mr. Felix Kadam were partners of the said Firm. In December 2010, Cospower Engineering Private Limited acquired the running business of M/s Cospower Corporation. The Company is engaged in manufacturing & supply of re-active power compensation systems, harmonic filters and substation & other engineering goods. The Company has been providing turnkey services which involves supply, installation, commissioning, testing and comprehensive maintenance of electric products. It provides turnkey services with the help of highly trained team of service engineers to assure the safe and proper operation of the electrical distribution equipment. The Company's manufacturing unit is located at Vasai in Maharashtra. The Company raised money from public through IPO by issuing 4,00,000 E ...quity Shares aggregating to Rs 2.04 Crore in March, 2020. The new unit of the Company became fully operational in 2021. In 2023, Company diversified into mechanical works and supplied large size pump valves to a public utility in Mumbai. It commenced the production of low voltage series reactors for electrical panels in 2024. In 2025, Company has completed Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 15 MVAr 132 kV capacitor bank at 220 kV substation of MSETCL at Kurduwadi, Solapur, Maharashtra. Supply and construction of 132 kV substation at a steel plant at Lagos in Nigeria. Supply and construction of 132 kV substation at a steel plant at Wardha in Maharashtra. It provided complete equipment from EHV to LV and installed and commissioned the same. Supply, installation and commissioning of 5th and 11th order passive harmonic filters at 11 kV system voltage to Arab Iron and Steels at Aden in Yemen. Supply, installation and commissioning of 5th, 7th, 11th and 13th order passive harmonic filter at 440 V system voltage in Island system at Multi Steel Castings Ltd at Chittagong in Bangladesh. 5th and 7th order harmonic filter at 11 KV system voltage was supplied and commissioned at HWP, Department of Atomic Energy at the premises of RCF, Thal, Maharashtra. 11 kV MV HT APFC panel was supplied and commissioned at Naval Dockyard as a pilot project. 11kV Passive Harmonic Filters, were supplied and commissioned to 3 steel plants in central Gujarat. Supplied and commissioned a major order with Rastriya Chemical Fertilizers, Thal for 2 nos. 13 MVAr, 11 kV Capacitor Banks. Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of PF improvement system comprising of HT APFC, LT APFC and HT fixed type Capacitors 5 nos. at pumping stations of Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai.
