The Budget speech will begin at 11 am sharp, in line with the post-2017 convention of presenting the Union Budget on February 1. Given the significance of Budget Day, Indian stock markets are open for a special trading session, allowing investors to react to announcements in real time.
Once the Budget speech concludes, all official Budget documents- including the Finance Bill, Expenditure Statement and Budget Highlights- will be made available on the government’s official website and mobile app.
