DOMS IN has decided to acquire Reynolds Pens India Pvt Ltd (RPI) for US$3.7mn (excluding inventory value). In this edition of Manthan, we highlight the strategic rationale for buying RPI. We believe the acquisition could be value accretive in long term, if DOMS IN can lever its distribution strength of 145,000 outlets and scale the business.
