About Khaitan (India) Ltd

Khaitan (India) Limited was incorporated in 1936. Khaitan Agro Complex merged with the firm from January 1994, which belonged to the Khaitan House. The Company is manufacturer of Sugar and also cultivates sugarcane in its captive farms for utilizing the same for manufacturing sugar in its factory. The Khaitan name is renowned for innovations as well which reflected in design of pioneering product concepts such as Freshair fans, and models in the mini category. Currently, Khaitan is diversifying further into pumps, lights, water heater added to its portfolio. A Scheme of Arrangement between Khaitan Electricals Ltd. (KEL), Kbaitan Lefin Limited (KLL) and the Company taken up in 2003-04 resulted into restructuring of Paid-up Capital of these Companies by reducing the 39,50,000 Equity Shares amounting to Rs 3.95 Crores effective from 01.01.2004. The sugar mill overhauled and as a result, it doubled the crushed quantity by recovering the crushing of sugar during the period 2011-12. During the year 2021-2022, Company could not start operation of the sugar mill (seasonal) mainly due to paucity of fund to finance the working capital requirement and other direct and operation expenses. The Company diversified the operations and has commenced trading activities of Electrical Goods in FY2025. ...
