The Karamtara Engineering IPO comprises a fresh issue of shares worth ₹675 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of ₹200 crore by promoters Tanveer Singh and Rajiv Singh, taking the total issue size to ₹875 crore. This is lower than the ₹1,750 crore issue size planned in the company’s draft papers filed in January 2025. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) approved the IPO in June 2025. JM Financial, ICICI Securities and IIFL Capital Services are the merchant bankers managing the issue.
Ahead of the IPO, Karamtara Engineering raised ₹75 crore through a private placement of 24.19 lakh compulsorily convertible preference shares (CCPS) at ₹310 apiece to Amara Partners. This amount was adjusted against the fresh issue size.

Karamtara Engineering manufacturer of solar mounting structures and tracker components in India. It also makes overhead transmission line hardware, fittings and accessories, and has entered the wind energy segment by manufacturing angular and tubular towers for wind turbines. The company plans to enter the battery energy storage systems (BESS) business through its wholly owned subsidiary, Karamtara Green Energy, incorporated in May 2025, and to set up manufacturing facilities for prefabricated engineered building (PEB) structures.
