Purple Style Labs Ltd shares made a weak debut on the stock exchanges on Monday, 7 September 2026, listing at a discount of nearly 7% to the issue price after its initial public offering (IPO) was subscribed 1.29 times overall during the three-day bidding period. 

What Was Purple Style Labs’ Listing Price And Discount? 

Purple Style Labs shares opened at ₹535 on the NSE, a discount of 6.96% to the ₹575 issue price. On the BSE, the stock listed at ₹539, a discount of 6.26% to the issue price. Following the listing, the company’s market capitalisation stood at around ₹4,315.29 crore. 

The stock’s debut was weaker than grey market trends had indicated. Purple Style Labs shares were commanding a grey market premium (GMP) that suggested a listing discount of nearly 2% on the morning of 7 September 2026, according to InvestorGain. 

GMP is an unofficial, informal indicator and does not guarantee the actual listing price or future performance of the stock. 

How Was Purple Style Labs IPO Subscribed? 

The Purple Style Labs IPO was subscribed 1.29 times overall, with bids received for around 88.66 lakh shares against 68.49 lakh shares on offer. The retail investor portion was subscribed 1.58 times and the qualified institutional buyer (QIB) category 1.43 times. The non-institutional investor (NII) portion was subscribed 84%. 

What Were The Key Details Of Purple Style Labs IPO? 

The IPO was priced in a range of ₹546 to ₹575 per share and comprised entirely a fresh issue of 1.18 crore equity shares, with no offer-for-sale component. 

Ahead of the issue, Purple Style Labs raised ₹306 crore from anchor investors on 28 August 2026, allotting 53.21 lakh shares at ₹575 apiece to 10 anchor investors, including Morgan Stanley Asia, BofA Securities Europe, Integrated Core Strategies, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund, Jupiter India Fund, Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance Company, ITI Mutual Fund and Singularity Equity Fund I. 

The company plans to use a large part of the IPO proceeds for its subsidiary PSL Retail, towards lease liabilities for its Experience Centres and back-end offices in India, sales and marketing expenditure, and general corporate purposes, according to its IPO documents. 

What Does Purple Style Labs Do? 

Purple Style Labs is promoted by Abhishek Agarwal and operates Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop, a multi-brand luxury fashion platform offering designer products across womenswear, menswear, jewellery and accessories. The company operates 14 Experience Centres, including 12 in metropolitan cities in India, and also sells through its digital platform, besides reaching customers through events and exhibitions.
