LEAP India Share Price: Stock Lists at 4% Premium on NSE & BSE

LEAP India shares have witnessed an auspicious debut on the stock exchanges on August 14, 2026 at over 4% premium to the ₹159 IPO price. The stock opened at ₹165.90 on NSE and ₹166 on BSE.

On the NSE, LEAP India shares opened at ₹165.90, valuing the company at ₹7,312.91 crore, registering a jump of 4.34%. On the BSE, the stock opened at ₹166, which is 4.40% higher than the ₹159 IPO price.

The stock’s listing was below the Gray market premium (GMP). LEAP India shares commanded a GMP of around ₹13, or 8%, before the listing, according to investor gain and IPO Watch.

It is pertinent to mention that the GMP is an unofficial indicator, and it does not ensure a stock’s listing price or future gains.

LEAP India IPO: Price Band, Issue Size and Subscription  

The ₹2,480-crore LEAP India IPO was opened for subscription on August 7, 2026, and it closed on August 11, 2026. The IPO has garnered 8.38 times application against 96,32,58,796 equity shares on offer. Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs), and Non-Institutional Investors (NIIs) were the primary bidders, as the retail portion was subscribed 1.71 times.

As regards the price band, the shares were offered at ₹151 to ₹159, and ₹159 was selected as the final issue price. The ₹2,480-crore offering comprised ₹480 crore fresh issue and ₹2,000 crore offer for sale (OFS).

Additionally, the IPO saw the participation of 32 anchor investors who applied for 4.67 crore shares at ₹159 per share, raising ₹743.62 crore in the process. The anchor investors include the Monetary Authority of Singapore, Morgan Stanley, Norway’s Government Pension Fund Global, Amundi, Citigroup, Societe Generale, and Goldman Sachs.

Furthermore, JM Financial, Avendus Capital, IIFL Capital Services, and UBS Securities India were the managing directors of the offering. Shares of LEAP India are listed on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

LEAP India was incorporated in 2013, and it offers technology-led supply chain and asset-pooling solutions. It provides pooling solutions for pallets, containers, and material-handling equipment. Its clients include various industries such as Fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), food and beverages, third-party logistics, e-commerce, quick commerce, automotive, and industrials. KKR is one of the significant investors in the company.

The company’s revenue from operations rose 27.8% to ₹466.4 crore in FY25 from ₹364.9 crore in FY24. Its net profit stood at ₹37.5 crore in FY25 compared to ₹37.1 crore in FY24.

LEAP India’s near-term performance will depend on post-listing demand, market sentiment and the company’s ability to deliver on its business growth plans.
